Our Vision
We love to make glass, but more importantly, we love to make people smile. We pride ourselves on our eclectic store with a variety of unique pieces that will definitely make you happy. Stop in or give us a call.
Yep, just one class.. one glass class and the addiction began. One kiln turned into six kilns; one sheet of glass turned into several rooms and a garage full of glass and tools. So many ideas so little time.
For over 25 years, the artist in residence, Leslie Fitzell, has honed the skills she learned through that fateful class and turned her love for glass making into what The Laffing Glass Studio into what it is today with lots of help and encouragement from family and friends. Come down and see the pieces in person!
We are located on the shores of beautiful lake Michigan in the coastal town of Saugatuck, Michigan. If you haven't visited before. you are in for a treat. If you have, we can't wait to see you again.
Leslie makes all original pieces and also specializes in custom work. She also absolutely loves adding glass and metal to found items. Feel free to contact us directly to discuss a piece you might want to have created!
